Label Tag
|
Enter a label name and press the + button to add a
label to a device in the drawing. You must enter data points to place the
leader line and label. The BOM report will only show parts that have been
labeled. If you specified a tag in the Label_Prefix field of the parts database
record, that label will automatically fill in.
|
ACK Parts
|
If you select a device that has an accessory kit
associated with it, the software will list each part number in the accessory
kit here. You can enter a tag prefix for each part number in the kit should you
choose to place a label for these accessory part numbers. If you specified a
Tag_Prefix in the Label_Prefix field of the parts database record, that
Tag_Prefix will automatically fill in.
|
Place Label
|
If you select a part number listed in the ACK Parts
table, you can select the Place Label button to place a label for this part
number. You must enter data points to place the leader line and label.
|
Refresh Tags
|
When a label/tag text is entered and then the symbol
inserted, it becomes locked so that it can be placed multiple times, but the
text will always be the same. If the user wants to change the text they must
remove all labels. At this point, the dialog will still show the label as red
text indicating it's locked. The refresh will clear any labels that no longer
exist on the currently active drawing so that new text can be entered.
|
Output BOM
|
Creates a Bill Of Materials based on the labels
placed in the drawing. The BOM contains the label ID, quantity, part number and
description. The template for the report is defined in the BOMTemplateName
project setting.
Note: The Device ID
settings in this dialog define how the quantity is calculated.
